Title: Horror Junk Earful 11 - The BIG SHOW
Date: February 3, 2008
Size: 38.7 megs
Description: Holy Balls, what a big episode! I start the episode strong, but my alcohol riddled brain turns the episode to mush by the end of it. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Guest submitter Rat Salade sends a Don't Open Til Christmas review my way, Shea and I take a look at Urine Trouble, and I review Dead Body Man Chronicles all by my lonesome. I also listen to a ton of voicemails and also TOTALLY forget to read any of the viewer mail I had sitting around waiting to be read.
Don't drink kids. It ruins your brains and will make your podcast suck at the end if you drink too much.
Thanks to all the special contributors to this episode, including Ryan Cavalline and the 4th Floor Guys, Shea, Rat Salade, Dylan, Brother D, Balitiger, Tony Wash and Scotchworthy Productions, and I'm sure I'm leaving off a couple.

Okay, here's what you do; Tim, you dress up as Jason, Shea, you dress up like Freddy. You guys get shitfaced, and just beat the shit out each other and whoever comes out, less hurt, will be the victorious one. The character that person likes, will be the better one. That should settle it.

I agree. Be sure to test out the theories on each characters' weakness. Tim - gas Shea, light him on fire, and pitch him through a window. Shea - throw countless cups of water on Tim. Sounds like a plan!

I have as much personality as a punch in the cock...Okay, that doesn't even make sense to me even, so what I'm trying to say is I don't have much personality. I don't smoke that much of the magic dragon anymore, but next time I'm spreading my mind, I'll make it my duty to call. And sure, I'll review a movie, not Slime City, just because I'd sound like fucktarded fanboy. I'm getting my hands on a copy of Plutonium Baby (which Greg mentioned in the interview), maybe I'll review that for you.

That was a GREAT review. I mean it... I really didn't think it would fit the horrorJunk form but, I wanted to send it anyway. Can quote some things you did say about because you had some good lines about the film... Ya, the movie really wasn't a horror film but, more of an out of control comedy. So, I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it was. I think we did a great job offending people so, thats a plus. Keep an eye out for our new flick Stockholm Sydrome - Going into production this month.

Dylan, I got your email and I'll be sending some free shit your way by the weekend. Hope you enjoy it.
BloodDiner, I think catching Shea on fire is a great idea! I'll get it on camera for the show. I'm sure Shea will be okay sacrificing himself for the good of the podcast.
Ryan, you can absolutely use any quote you want from the podcast however you want. Also, like I mentioned in the podcast, I'm looking to start an illustration career so if you need some artwork for your cover, I'd love a chance to submit and see if you like it. No obligation of course, and it would be done totally free. Just something to keep in mind.
I did enjoy DBMC, by the way, just not exactly as a horror movie. As an offensive comedy, its only flaw was not enough nudity! If you want me to come up with a better quote I can give it a whirl now that I've worked the alcohol out of my system.
Definitely excited about Stockholm Syndrome. Dude, I also really want to appear in a 4th Floor film somehow... on the TV in the background or some shit. Keep me in mind for some kind of guest appearance!

I dig the fight episode. Although, I'm not gonna go for little tiny cups of water. I'm going to straight cockpunch Tim, and then take his face and drown him in a cup of piss. Then Tim, my so called friend, Ur-really-ine trouble.
And I'll get my magical claws and stab you a bunch of times, and take some fun pictures of your lifeless corpse...and then post them on the net. Maybe if we do a good enough job filming it, we can appear in a Faces of Death video!

Just got my iPod back about a week ago and I got this episode on there. I haven't listened to it yet, but I will get to it as soon as I can.

Welcome back to the podosphere, brother! Oh, how I missed the sweet soothing sounds of Tim's voice poking my ear holes . . .
I wanted to whip up a little Mail Order Zombie-style review for Horror Junk, but, man recording a podcast takes a LOT OF TIME . . . sheesh! If I had known . . . well, that's not true - I'm loving doing my own show, but, I'm committed to a weekly schedule, so it's eating up a lot of time that I would have spent calling in and harassing Horror Junk! I'll try to whip something up for you w/ in the next week or so . . .
And just in case I haven't plugged myself enough - Y'all should check out Mail Order Zombie, baby . . . ! http://www.mailorderzombie.com . . .

Hey Tim...another great episode!! Thanks for props! And I gotta say this was one of your funnier episodes. I laughed my ass off several times. Can't wait to see Urine Trouble!

Just listened to the show today. Awesome as always! It was great to hear an earful after such a long time. RatSalade's review of "Don't Open til Christmas" was dead on. I didn't like it at all myself. It was a huge piece of garbage.
I can't believe you like the remake of Black Christmas over the original. Blaspheme! Just kidding. But seriously, that's mind blowing. I didn't hate the remake, but it was nowhere as good as the original.
Jason always rules over Freddy.
I'll definately stay away from Dead Body Man Chronicles. That review was harsh, but i'm sure it was needed. I trust your opinion. I would like to check out Urine Trouble whenever it goes up though.
Since I just listened now, I think I may be too late to throw out an email and get some free stuff. That sucks. I really wanted to check out that Halloween dvd.
I'll be calling in a voicemail soon. I know I always say that, but I mean it this time. Maybe.....kinda.....um...i'll work on it.

For the record, I enjoyed DBMC, I really did! It's just that the show is Horror Junk, and I have to review the movies based on horror elements, and I have to judge this movie based on its horror merits. So yeah, in that sense, the movie could have been better.
But as a good 'ole, get drunk and hang out with buddies for some offensive, low-brow comedy, it's good! There were so horror elements, but not enough to succeed as a horror flick necessarily.
If all you want is horror, check out 4th's Floor's Demon Slaughter! Still absolutely my favorite 4th Floor picture!

Oh, and Dark Lord, you wouldn't qualify for free shit anyway since you didn't leave a message. so LEAVE A MESSAGE, and I'll send ya a HALLOWEEN: The Happy Haunting of America DVD.

I'll be getting DBMC sometime. I still need to see the second one though. The first Dead Body Man was good, I liked it, then again, I liked Woodchipper Massacre, so who am I to say if it was good or not?

I will leave you a message today. Of course then you'll think I just did it for the dvd. This time you would be right though. I really want to check it out. I'll babble about something.

Hahahaha..ya know I had a feeling you definately would comment on the absence of nudity in DBMC..but anyways I was actually suprised you reviewed it since it really doesn't fall into the horror category..but it's cool that you did..thanks again! I think this film is aimed towards viewers that are into shows like Family Guy and Robot Chicken, or films like Borat or the Jackass films..I have yet to hear the podcast..I just got a new computer and i gotta catch up on the podcasts! But as Ryan said..have no fear..we are returning to full-on bloodbath mode for Stockholm Syndrome!

Left a voicemail. It's nothing great. Hmmm, it actually kind of sucks. I'll have to leave a better one at some point.

I had this roommate one time who would get so drunk he would piss the bed. One night he pissed all over some girl he picked up at a bar. It was great... The best Urine Trouble I've ever seen.

Ha! funny. Reminds me of when I lived in Germany. Our house had a sink in the bedroom and I got drunk and pissed in the sink all the time!

I wanted WIllie to P on someone in the movie but, I decided to cut that out. Ping on people is funny stuff.
Offline
Ya, I should have but, there are just so many jokes going on that I felt that we should just keep the better jokes and not go for the easy jokes like "Ping" on people... Actually, i take that back. At the end of the movie, Willie's twin brother P's on everyone... SO, there is one Ping seen in Dead Body Man Chronicles. There is also a puzzy monster and a huge chicken Willie fights.
Good stuff,
Ryan
