I just came when I heard you guys talk about the megasode (that's what I'm calling it). I can't fucking wait for it. Tom Savini is my hero.

Re: Episode 19 - Book of Lore

Yeah, the Halloween Megasode (great word) is going to totally rule. Wolfie is working on it while I handle the standard HJ episodes, so I haven't seen the episode myself yet. I'm as excited as everyone else.

Re: Episode 19 - Book of Lore

well there isn't much of an episode yet as I'm still compiling footage.  I have MOST of the interviews up and edited down.  Now getting all the horror movie scenes captured and put in will be the annoying part.  Working on that tonight as well as getting the Ken Kirzinger interview finally done.  Small techincal complications have plagued both so far.  But no worries.  When we unveil it to you all you will be salivating I promise.

Re: Episode 19 - Book of Lore

I like the idea of reviewing older movies, just make them movies that people have 'probably' never seen. I know there are a lot of older films that I have not seen and would like to know a little more about.

And Tim, I agree, Slumber Party Massacre 1 was awesome.

Re: Episode 19 - Book of Lore

you should do Flesh Eating Mothers.  That one was great. Though I don't think there was any nudity but it was funny as hell. They had to know they were making a bad horror movie when they were making it.

Slime City is pretty good.  But Nail Gun Massacre and Blood Diner have a special place in my heart.

Just to warn you, there's no nudity, but there is a fully clothed sex scene.

Re: Episode 19 - Book of Lore

The effects make up for it. It's also one of the only low budget movies I've seen that has a good plot.
