Title - Horror Junk Review: It's My Party And I'll Die If I Want To
Date - October 29, 2007
Size - 42.3 megs
Description - Horror Junk's triumphant return to what you know and love: video reviews of independent horror movies. This time around, we watch It's My Party And I'll Die If I Want To, a story about an 18 year old girl whose friends are throwing her a surprise party in a haunted mansion.
Horror Junk would also like to extend a warm welcome to the new co-host, Shea VanLaningham. Shea is an a low- and no-budget filmmaker himself, and will be an incredible asset to Horror Junk with his creativity, his dedication to the genre, and his experience in writing, directing, shooting, editing, special effects, etc. Welcome to the show, Shea.
Oh, and because Horror Junk is switching servers (soon), we're going to start putting nudity in the episodes. No more of that editing nonsense. This nudity-driven episode is dedicated to forum-goer, BloodDiner.

Hey guys,
Thanks again for taking the time to review "It's My Party..." I enjoyed hearing what you guys had to say about the movie and I look forward to getting reviews from Horrorjunk for the rest of our projects. Check out www.myspace.com/scotchworthy for updates on "It's My Party & I'll Die If I Want To" and our other Scotchworthy productions.
Best regards,

This was pretty good. Loved the intro almost a little too much. Shea seems like a good fit. Stars? Feckin' stars? Drop the stars and go back to the random ranks. Liked the CG too. Really, well done, can't wait for some more of the video version.

I had to wipe a tear from my eye. Violence...dead co-hosts...NUDITY...
You've raised the bar, my friend(s) - and welcome Shea. If you're still alive, that is.

That was a good time. Can't wait to see more! Savini High Alumni..yeah~hi-5. Thanks for the review...
Hey guys, I'm glad you enjoyed the film. I was one of the on set makeup artists, and a grip, and sometimes a sound guy, and a bunch of other stuff, so that should give you an idea of what kind of budget we were working with. Thanks for a good review.
No sense in sending a long myspace message when i have access to the forums.........
awesome new episode fella's.
the ranking with stars has got to go though. go back to creative rankings like bloody vag's
print up a horror junk poster and hang it on the wall behind your couch. its too blank and was distracting.
shea is a lot better than brian. his dryness is a nice contrast to your style of commentary.
this episode was the 2nd best so far.
cheers to you for showing more uncensored clips.
all in all this was a cool lil episode to watch in traffic on the way to work.
good job and happy halloween.

Tony (director of "It's my party") and I convinced Tim to return to the non-star ranking. We too felt that bloody house vaginas, fish and chips, etc. were much more interesting ranking systems than stars. This one could have been ranked on something as simple as birthday cakes, or maybe ninja Elvira chicks? The possibilities are endless!

awesome, good job on that convincing.
stars are generic and average. horror junk should be above average.

I'm glad we're not the only ones who wanted the ranking system fixed. Thanks for getting the review up on youtube also, but how do you get to it...I typed in horrorjunk and the search brought up every episode except this one?
The video is here:

Yeah yeah, sorry about the ranking system... my bad. We recorded the next episode tonight and have corrected the error.

Hey Guys. It's Shea. Thanks for posting your comments on the episode. I'm glad that I have been accepted thus far. Totally my fault on the stars. I believe that I was the one that started that whole thing w/the first episode. As Tim stated, we filmed the next episode and it definitely has been changed. It will be much better.
And don't forget! Submit your questions for Dr. Michael Myers! He's starting to get a bit antsy. And we all know what happens then...
Anyways...keep up the good work on letting us know what you think of the episodes. I can't wait to get more episodes up and interacting with you all a lot more.
