Title - Horror Junk Presents: Things That Go Bump In The Night
Date - November 26, 2007
Size - 16.9 megs
Description - Horror Junk is taking some time off, and instead of doing all the work ourselves we're simply showcasing some work by Scotchworthy Productions - The same crew who brought us It's My Party And I'll Die If I Want To.
They're fond of the long titles, I guess.

Just saw this pop up while I was still on the good computer. It's downloading right now so I can take it with me.

I've watched it and it was alright. Kind of predictable, I mean you knew something was going to happen. It couldn't be a nice little film. It was only like 5 minutes, not a lot of time for suspense. I've also seen that basic idea used before. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying, "Oh boo, this sucks. What the fuck is wrong with you losers?", but I personally didn't care for it. It's cool that you put in the effort though.

Just to be clear, Horror Junk had absolutely nothing to do with this production other than putting it up for your viewing pleasure, so we take no offense by any criticisms.
However, if you don't like seeing these shorts on the site/podcast feed, please let us know and we'll stop showing them. We've got a couple others coming, but we won't show 'em if you don't like 'em.

Keep 'em coming!

Dylan, I am glad to know that you enjoyed the movie...thanks for the compliment. We put this short together in about a week and shot in a day so though the production values are by no means top notch, we were very pleased to see that some of our footage was used to promote the "Dare to Direct" episode on ChillerTV Halloween night and we had clips in 3 separate commercials on Direct TV.
Tim, thanks for throwing this up on the site and thanks again for the audio podcast interview. Listening to it, I'm glad I didn't have a few extra beers in me, otherwise I would've rambled a ton.
Any way you can get me a copy of just the interview either emailed to me or available for me to embed on my myspace profile?
Tony
I love the fact that Horror Junk has short films on the site now.
its great and adds to the overall appeal of the site.
excellent idea fella's
now for the short.......
The Good: the ghoul looked great, the guts were nice and it was paced well.
The Bad: generic "plot", horrid forced dialogue and a lame ass ending.
id rather watch 2 minutes of the ghoul fvckin things up.
still.....id like to see more.

I understand that you guys had nothing to do with it.
I never said I didn't mind seeing the short, I just didn't care much for this one. I wouldn't mind seeing more in the future though. It's still fun.

Not bad...although it is funny how the "father" and "daughter" are about the same age!

Even though it was a bit predictable, I still thought the short was fun, and I think Horror Junk including these little nuggets in their regularly-scheduled line-up is a great thing . . . !
