The stuff he ate was Himalayan Yogurt. I'm glad you liked the movie, Tim!

Sounds like a pretty weird movie, if I can find it cheap I'll give it a try.  I was thinking, maybe for the lazy fucks like me you could put links to the webpages you mention at the top of the thread....I always forget them and have to listen again, but then maybe that is all part of your master plan to take over the world......

Great episode!  Sounded great and it was very fun to listen to.  The movie sounds pretty interesting.  I'll try to check it out.  Greg sounded like a pretty awesome guy.  Keep up the awesome work, Tim.

Great idea, Balitiger! Make the podcast hard to hear and hard to remember so people have to listen to it several times. Brilliant!

Greg's website is http://www.slimeguy.com if you didn't figure it out. Definitely worth checkin' out!

Re: Horror Junk Earful 9 - Slime City Tribute

Hi, everyone!

First, thanks for having me on--the Horrorjunk podcast interview was fun, and a few people complimented me on it.  I hope you don't mind me offering everyone an update:

2 weeks ago (January 17th - 20th) I attended the Beloit International Film Festival for SLIME CITY's 20th anniversary, with the film's stars, Robert Sabin and Mary Huner-Bogle.  We were joined there by Robert Tomaro, who compsoed the score.  It was an amazing festival and the screenings were a huge success.  You can read my account of it--and see what Robert and Mary look like now--over on Fear Zone (www.fearzone.com), which I edit.  The exact link for that article is

http://www.fearzone.com/blog/love-beloit

We unveiled The Slime City Soundtrack CD at the fest, and since then have scored a great review over on Fearnet:

http://www.fearnet.com/MCReviewDetailPa … ;mid=12624

Fearnet also reviewed the GRUESOME CD--

http://www.fearzone.com/blog/gruesome-johnny

--based on my novel JOHNNY GRUESOME, which was just published and received a rave review on Feo Amante's  Horror Thriller  Site:

http://www.feoamante.com/Stories/Review … _Grue.html

Amazingly, I've sold copies of the SLIME soundtrack to stores and people in Germany, Norway, and Switzerland--where the film was never released!

I just turned in the manuscript and photos for my next book, CHEAP SCARES! HOW TO AMKE A LOW BUDGET HORROR FILM, to McFarland & Company.

Just today, a film director with a deal to produce a film for 1.5 million contacted me about JOHNNY GRUESOME, but I think I'll have to turn him down--that isn't enough to do the book right.

But DEADLY RITES, the next film I hope to direct, which does have a 1.5 million budget, is actually coming close to reality.

And, while in Beloit, I discussed with Mary and Robert my ideas for SLIME CITY MASSACRE.

Thanks for letting me jaw yer ears off.  Don't be strangers; visit my website, www.slimeguy.com and sign up for my free newsletter, The Gruesome Gazette.  I'm planning to make a major announcement on Valentine's Day!

And hey--go ahead and buy SLIME cheap on e-bay--or support a starving filmmaker by buying a signed copy directly from him! smile
